Moray Canoe & Kayak Club

We are a canoe and kayak club based in Elgin, Moray, Scotland.

From April to mid September we have regular Moray Firth sea kayaking sessions on Tuesday evenings and River Spey paddling at Knockando on Wednesday evenings. We also arrange some weekends away from Spring to Autumn.

Participation in these events is subject to experience, weather conditions and possession of appropriate kit.

During the winter months we usually have weekly sessions at the Moray Leisure Centre pool in Elgin.  These will begin again in January 2025.

We welcome new members (currently adults only), particularly experienced paddlers.  We are able to accommodate a small number of beginners at the recent winter pool sessions prior to outdoor sessions this year.  Our ability to accommodate new beginners on the sea is limited by availability of coaches.
